Unearthed: Dragon Dawn
This tall black-oak staff appears well worn as if from centuries of use.
This tall black-oak staff appears well worn as if from centuries of use. It is a simple and elegant design made of natural curves – no other carvings or markings are found on it. The grain lines are faint along its pure black surface, but show up in a few gouges and cuts. It is smooth to the touch along the entire length, but around the handle it is as slick as glass and soft as silk. No matter what the ambient temperature in the room, it always feels warm.
It currently leans in the front corner of the store room of Fort Stormwald. If there was anyone who could remember, they’d tell you that it once belonged to a great sorcerer of ages past and that in the dead silence of the night, if you listen very carefully, you can hear it weeping over the loss of its former master.
